Sadly, we don't always give thanks on a consistent basis. Giving thanks should be something we do 365 days a year.
The Apostle Paul started most of his letters THANKING his readers for their faith.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 "...give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
- God wants to be THANKED for His providence and sovereignty.
- Jesus wants to be THANKED for taking our sin and making us clean.
- The Holy Spirit wants to be THANKED for His guidance and comfort.
If you remember, He was angered by the grievances and complaints of the Israelites. In the same way, He is grieved when we complain and carry an ungrateful attitude.
