Sunday Is Not A Second Saturday

Sunday is not a second Saturday.
We all have scheduled vacations. If you’re missing every Sunday because you keep adding to your calendar you’ll soon discover it’s not an addition but a subtraction. Don’t put Jesus’ name on it. Serving throughout the week & weekends doesn’t take the place of Sunday Worship with the Body of Christ.
The Law of Christ, which began at Pentecost, is God’s law for all mankind today. The Law of Christ teaches that we are to meet on Sunday, the first day of the week. This is the day upon which our Lord arose from the dead (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:2-6; Luke 24:1; John 20:1). The day upon which the church began, Pentecost, also was on the first day of the week (Leviticus 23:9-16). Therefore, we can see why the Lord chose the first day of the week as the day of worship for Christians.
Bottom line...get into the RHYTHM of the everydayness of life by putting CHRIST first in everything. I want His blessing & approval more than another post of myself on social media, “living my best life.” #ForReal
