Five Things For Wednesday

1. Good morning! Let's be PRODUCTIVE & PURPOSEFUL today!

2. You can't keep saying "I hate this job" & expect to be creative & productive in it...or fulfilled by it. SPEAK LIFE over it.

3. With God fruitfulness is not optional. He expects us to BE productive with what He's given us. (John 15:8)

4. Rethink DELAYS. You're not losing time. Your schedule was adjusted. Don't be frustrated. Be productive with that extra time.

5. When you see the people on your TEAM as partners, you will be twice as productive with half the effort!

Are You A Big Shot?

1. Find the SERVANT & you've found your LEADER. They're not the big shot sitting at the head table...they're the one in the kitchen preparing the meal.

2. "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." Mark 10:43

3. Do you want to be a LEADER? Then become aSERVANT. Pick up a towel & start washing dirty feet. Think of yourself as a SLAVE & not as a MASTER.

4. True leadership is not a matter of having a title, a position or an over-the-top personality. Leadership is first & foremost a matter of the HEART.

5. If SERVING is beneath you, leadership is BEYOND you.

BONUS: We don't need anymore SUPERSTARS in the body of Christ or in business...we need more SERVANTS.
  • People who think of OTHERS first.
  • People who are THOUGHTFUL & CAREFUL not to offend.
  • People who consider other people's FEELINGS...not just their own.
  • People who ANTICIPATE the needs of others.
  • People who SHARE their TIME, TALENT & TREASURE.
  • People who are INCLUSIVE not EXCLUSIVE.
  • People who don't tell you just what they want you to KNOW, but walk in total TRANSPARENCY.
  • People who GIVE more than they TAKE.

5 Things - Attitude

1. The ATTITUDE of the clay has to remain contented! Contentment is not complacency. It's a SETTLED PEACE in the palm of God's hand.
2. How's your ATTITUDE today? Are you mad about something that God has or has not done in your life?
3. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving & into His courts with praise! Your ATTITUDE unlocks the door!
4. Ungratefulness destroys FAVOR faster than any other heart ATTITUDE. Appreciation & gratitude will keep Favor flowing in your life.
5. Employers don't pay what YOU are worth. They usually pay what the POSITION is worth + extra for your ATTITUDE, skill & commitment.

Jealousy Is A Trick

1. The time you spend monitoring another person's success is time wasted. You're COMPETING against time, not people.
2. Stop COMPETING with the very people God is using to Bless you!
3. You cannot reach your destiny, if you're COMPETING with who you should be COLLABORATING with!
4. When birds fly in structure & formation without COMPETING with each other, they COMPLIMENT each other. They STAY lifted.
5. People who walk in their blessings are NOT JEALOUS of other people who walk in their blessings!

5 Things About David

1. David was ANOINTED to "be" a King, long before he was APPOINTED "as" the King.

  • Jessie's 7 sons pass before Samuel but they are "rejected" (7 = COMPLETION)
  • Jessie's 8th son is "accepted" (8 = NEW BEGINNING)
  • Almost always there will be a season of ACCREDITING between the time of your ANOINTING to the time of your APPOINTING.

2. David had to learn how to LEAD himself before he was able to LEAD others.

  • In David's ISOLATION he mastered his INHIBITION.
  • PREPARATION will always require SANCTIFICATION. (Being set apart)

3. David's FUNCTION as a shepherd prepared him for his FUTURE as a king.

  • Shepherds will die to protect a lamb or sheep.
  • Shepherds feed & water the flock daily.
  • Shepherds lead out in front of the flock.
  • Shepherds love each sheep, naming them each with their own name.
  • Shepherds carefully develop the animals for breeding purposes, to produce more sheep & healthy sheep.

4. David became King of Judah (PRAISE), before he became King of Israel (PREVAIL).

  • He started with the southern kingdom first.
  • Be grateful & resourceful with what you've already been given & you'll be given more!
  • He ruled like he was king over the WHOLE even when he only had the HALF.
  • God won't give you MORE if you can't take care of LESS.
  • Being faithful with little NOW means being trusted with more LATER.

5. David never stopped seeing himself as a SHEPHERD, therefore God could use him as a KING.

  • Leadership is born from our BEHAVIOR before it is bequeathed in our BIOGRAPHY.
  • David was honored by the Lord because David honored the Lord.
  • David did not rule Israel by having them fall in love with him, he led Israel by having them fall in love with God.

5 Things For Thursday

God said, "Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore I WILL..." (Psalm 91:14–15)

1. Deliver him.
2. Set him on high.
3. Answer him.
4. Be with him and deliver him.
5. Honor him.

Is there something you want God to do for you? According to His Word, there are several things God wants to do for you...good things that we all desire. So what's the catch? The condition is that you must set your love upon Him.

5 Things For Wednesday - Encouragement

1. God uses encouragement to strengthen us, when we're at the part of our journey where we think He's lost sight of us. #HeSeesYou

2. When the pressure is on you'd better not be hung up on titles/status, because God will use ANYONE He chooses to send you help & encouragement.

3. Some people have no concept of encouragement. They miss the purpose of their ministry call. They're UNDERTAKERS, not UPLIFTERS.

4. You have an opportunity to plant powerful SEEDS of encouragement today. Speak answers kindly. Don't magnify the problem. #GraceWords

5. People are starved for encouragement. The Bible said this would happen in the last days. Be an ENCOURAGER! Criticism takes no effort!

Waking Up With a Smile

God added one more day in your life today, not necessarily because you need it, but because the world still needs you to let your light shine.

So, starting today, FALL IN LOVE. Not necessarily with a person, but
with an AIM, an AMBITION, a PASSION.

What would be your reason to wake up every morning with a smile? That’s what you need to start working on today!

"Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is
beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back." (Philippians 3:13-14 MSG)

Let It Go & Move On!

There is a familiar saying, “Do you want to hear God laugh, then show him your plans.” It’s not that God doesn’t want you to try or dream big.

He gives you the desires of your heart but His plans are bigger than we can ever imagine.

People look to fortune tellers and psychics to get answers. They want to know their future and what to expect. God wants you to trust Him. You don’t need a crystal ball for that.

Possibly that traffic jam saved you from a horrible accident. Perhaps that job didn’t call you back because it’s really not the right place for you. Maybe if you wait a little longer a better job opportunity is coming, and it is the right one.

When we struggle in life, our faith is tested. Learning to trust God is lifelong journey. There will be days your faith will be challenged. When doors will be locked and you have to wait it out.

Psalm 37:3-4 says, “Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

God knows today, tomorrow, and all things that intertwine. We cannot see everything He sees and we cannot know everything He knows.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:8–9

5 Things For Tuesday

Laugh when you can, apologize when you should, smile often, forgive quickly & let go of what you can’t change.  Life is short, yet amazing.  Enjoy the ride!
