Sunday Is Not A Second Saturday

Sunday is not a second Saturday.
We all have scheduled vacations. If you’re missing every Sunday because you keep adding to your calendar you’ll soon discover it’s not an addition but a subtraction. Don’t put Jesus’ name on it. Serving throughout the week & weekends doesn’t take the place of Sunday Worship with the Body of Christ.
The Law of Christ, which began at Pentecost, is God’s law for all mankind today. The Law of Christ teaches that we are to meet on Sunday, the first day of the week. This is the day upon which our Lord arose from the dead (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:2-6; Luke 24:1; John 20:1). The day upon which the church began, Pentecost, also was on the first day of the week (Leviticus 23:9-16). Therefore, we can see why the Lord chose the first day of the week as the day of worship for Christians.
Bottom line...get into the RHYTHM of the everydayness of life by putting CHRIST first in everything. I want His blessing & approval more than another post of myself on social media, “living my best life.” #ForReal

How Do We Get Things So Backward?

How do we get things so backward? Why do we keep putting God last, instead of first?
We forget Who gave us health to have a job & then use the same job God allowed us to have to put Him LAST on the list; and somehow we justify it in our mind.
The children of Israel REJECTED God as their King & sought for an earthly king to lead them. God told Samuel to tell them this..."And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day." (1 Samuel 8:18)
Be careful how you TREAT God, for He is a JEALOUS GOD.
If He's not Lord of ALL, He's not Lord at all. If He doesn't have preeminence in your life, He's not your Lord. If He's not your Lord, the only prayer He can hear from you is a cry of repentance. Prayer without change is often a plea for God to reward dysfunction.
My heart remains heavy for the souls of people who are running 100mph in the wrong direction.
The best thing we can do when we receive TRUTH...is CHANGE. Be wary of the narrative you choose to believe. If you let flesh decisions dilute your outlook, then your outcome will wreak of flesh & the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes & the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:16
Allow God into your decisions!
