Five Things For Friday

1. Help as many people as you can. But remember this: Lifeguards can drown too.

2. You cannot help everyone but you can help someone.

3. We should make it easy for people to support the cause God put in our heart.

4. Many today focus on the position & ignore the revelation. In my day we sought the revelation & THAT got us the position!

5. If you're lying in bed discouraged, depressed & hopeless let me offer this: things will change. But not without you. So get up! Get yourself together! Go to church. Hear from God. He has instructions for you.

BONUS: When a student's heart isn't right towards their teacher...instructions sound like insults & correction is mistaken for criticism. God told Cain, "If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it." (Genesis 4:7)

5 Things For Monday

FIVE THINGS FOR MONDAY: Always be mindful of the texture, flavor & nature of your WITNESS for The Lord. Never come across coarse, bitter or arrogant. #FavorKillers

1. HUMILITY- No matter how high you go, always be rooted in where you came from. Matthew 5:8

2. HONOR yields FAVOR. We can't harvest favor where we're sowing dishonor. Check your HEART, MOTIVES & your MOUTH.

3. There's a direct link between the success of your company & the company you keep. Surround yourself with people who are HUMBLE, HONORABLE, HOSPITABLE & HEALABLE.

4. Never pay someone to DISRESPECT you. You can get that for free.

5. Beware of 8 Favor Killers. Never allow yourself to become:
• Comfortable
• Familiar
• Entitled
• Apathetic
• Ungrateful
• Critical
• Resentful or
• Deceived about your importance

Today, allow The Holy Spirit to speak to any areas of weakness in your life. When you do, your mind will be more apt to conform to the thoughts of Christ.

Spiritual Covering (Five Things For Tuesday)

FIVE THINGS FOR TUESDAY

1. FOOLS are blessed by the sound of their own voice & the slant of their biased wisdom. Their ignorance is obvious to all but them. Don't let yayhoos trip you up on your journey. Stay ROOTED & established in love.

2. It's the SEAMLESS walk NOT the project driven endeavor that understands & grows in the highs & lows. Be faithful & fruitful without applause.

3. My plan = (-)God's plan = (+)The will of God is a seamless garment. It's stitched with blessing. Counterfeits reveal fraying.

4. Satan gets an advantage over us by manipulating our BLIND SPOTS. That's why we need discerning, honest friends & spiritual covering.

5. POWER STATEMENT OF THE DAY: Be scared of a "prophet" who won't submit to a pastor/covering! #OutOfOrder

5 Things

As you head off to work today...here are 5 things to consider:


1. Your job may not be your calling. But it is your INCOME. Be GRATEFUL for it. Someone took a chance & hired you. PRAY for them! Mean them well. Do what you were hired to do. TITHE & you will be overwhelmingly blessed!! 

2. (THIS ONE IS SPECIFICALLY FOR ALL OUR BFWC FAMILY) After 20 years of pastoring, our record speaks...we aren’t GHOST people & we have no intention of vanishing or walking out of your life. We’re committed & we’re still investing in your spiritual development with integrity! We believe God is making #ROOM for your FAITH, FAMILY & FUTURE! #IAmNotAGhost 

3. (THIS ONE IS FOR ALL MY PASTOR FRIENDS) Sad truth today...TRANSIENT believers are a part of the 21st century church equation, just as it was in the early church! Don’t be discouraged Pastor! God has a PLAN & a PEOPLE that will show up in surplus!!!! FAITHFUL PEOPLE WILL FIND YOU! When they do BLESSINGS will come with them for your faithfulness! Stay focused...reaching your community for Christ will happen!!!

4. God LOVES you. He knows what He's doing. He hasn't forgotten you & He's not unrighteous to minimize the importance of your INVESTMENT in the ASSIGNMENT He has given you!

5. Don’t sweat over people who have GHOSTED you. Keep loving people, pouring into them & doing what God called you to do. Always remember...JESUS will NEVER ghost you. You can count on that!!! #ConsistentlyFaithful 

Five Things For Monday

1. Over time, I've learned that those who aren't willing to look for SOLUTIONS become aggravated with ANSWERS. After all, if they didn't have something to COMPLAIN about they wouldn't have anything to post on social media.

2. Your TAILOR-MADE problem can't be fixed with an OFF-THE-RACK solution. You need a mentor, with enough wisdom, to FIT you with a seamless strategy.

3. "I can't, it won't work, there's no way, I'm too broke, it's impossible, it's not fair & it's too hard..." aren't SOLUTIONS. Change your VOCABULARY to receive an EXTRAORDINARY answer!

4. You'll exhaust your energy providing SOLUTIONS to a person that needs the PROBLEM so they can have something to complain about.

5. You don't have to beg God to SOLVE your problems, the SOLUTION has already been supplied - Hebrew 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Five Things For Thursday

1) Don't allow the enemy to control you with the fear of rejection. Be who you are & people who appreciate your flavor will be drawn to you.
2) Success burns like a flame and many are drawn to it. So don't confuse those who love you with those who only love your success.
3) They're people from your THEN that your heart is drawn to. But be clear: they're not a part of your NOW because they're a hazard to you.
4) When greatness is inside of you it has to be drawn out. Sometimes it is the attack that draws the greatness out.
5) Whatever you've drawn closest to you will grow in your life. Be sure you're nurturing what you want to grow & starving what you want to die.

Storms - Five Things

1. One WORD from Jesus can CALM even the most devastating storm! When He speaks storms don't last! #PeaceBeStill

2. Never let the storms OUTSIDE you overcome the peace INSIDE you! #PeaceBeStill

3. There are storms that impact your DESTINATION and storms that impact your PEACE. Discern the difference. #PeaceBeStill

4. By the Grace of God, we've all SURVIVED storms. Some were torna-woes & others were major life-quakes. What's your storm story? #PeaceBeStill

5. Some storms won't cease until you COMMAND them to. #PeaceBeStill

Stronger - Five Things

1. You're STRONGER than you think. You'll never be tested beyond your ability. So change your strategy. LEAN on The Lord more.

2. The Angel told Gideon, "Go in your strength & you will save Israel." He was telling Gideon, "You're STRONGER than you think."

3. The attack will pass & you'll breathe again. One day you'll realize that this wasn't a detour...it was the road to a STRONGER you!

4. Never interpret God’s Love for you by the way people treat you. His LOVE is deeper, draws you closer & makes you STRONGER.

5. STRENGTH is not measured in days of PROSPERITY, but in days of ADVERSITY. If you survived yesterday's attack, you're STRONGER than you think!

Personalities & Principalities - Five Things

1. We’re dealing with two major things today in ministry: PERSONALITIES & PRINCIPALITIES.

2. We ALL have a PERSONALITY (The totality of an individual's behavioral & emotional characteristics.) Personality that REFUSES to be MODIFIED by the Fruit Of The Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) loses its influence to LEAD or be LED.

3. We don’t all have to BE alike or LOOK alike. However, when we have JESUS in us, we should ACT like He did. Don’t tell me you speak in tongues, but you still pop your neck at folks & are continually RUDE to people! Your version of the Holy Ghost needs an upgrade.

4. PRINCIPALITIES are demon spirits assigned against governments & leaders at every level. That's why God calls us to PRAY for LEADERS.

5. Seems to me that Pastors have to deal with more “junk” today IN the church than OUT of the church, because we are dealing with PRINCIPALITIES & POWERS (Ephesians 6:12). God can't DELIVER you from anything that you conveniently blame others for. OWN it to DETHRONE it!

Emotional - 5 Things

1. Because you got EMOTIONAL doesn't mean you got DELIVERED. You're only delivered if you're FREE when emotions wear off.

2. The real question is: Can you do the PRACTICAL when trying to act so SPIRITUAL? If it’s the real Holy Ghost in you, you’ll be able to act right & do right on the daily; NOT just in church...when you’re “going in”. If you can’t “go in” when it’s Monday & there’s no organ, screaming, hoopin or chill/thrill bumps...then you’re not yet spiritually mature. #StopFronting

3. Mental & emotional INSTABILITY makes a relationship very difficult. Cute & crazy is a volatile combination. Be prayerful yoking up with brother or sister coo-coo...they’ll have you crazy for coco puffs, too!

4. Before you get worked up because people are speaking ill of you, consider WHO they are. Consider their spiritual/mental/emotional state. Hurting people hurt people. Healed people heal people. Know what spirit you’re dealing with.

5. Don't spiritualize EMOTIONAL things. Just because you FEEL something doesn't mean God is SAYING something. I meet people all the time who have to have a “FEELING” to survive. The same people live life on a roller coaster of emotions. Up & down...in & out...here & there! Nothing can satisfy them & even Jesus can’t Pastor them. #shewwww

When we know better, we should do better.

5 Things For Tuesday

There Is PROGRESS in the PROCESS!

If we want PROGRESS in leadership, there is no progress unless we embrace the PROCESS of leadership. That means sometimes we do some hard work, some difficult work, some unbelievable work & no one is going to see it but God.

We've got to get past wanting to get DISCOVERED & start concerning ourselves with being DEVELOPED. When we stop screaming at the world, "Discover me!" & start screaming at God, "Develop me!" That's when we'll reach our potential.

Five Things For Monday

Life’s biggest limitations are the ones you make in your mind.  Life’s biggest causes of unhappiness are the false beliefs you refuse to let go of. You are capable of far more than you are presently thinking, imagining, doing or being.  But you will ultimately become what you habitually contemplate; so clear your mind & let your hopes, not your hurts, shape your future.

Secure In God's Love

First John 4:18 says, “There is no fear in love…but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror!”

Getting a revelation of God’s unconditional love will help you understand that your worth and value are based on the fact that you're a child of God, not on what you do. This is so important because if we believe God loves us based on what we do or how well we perform, we will never be truly secure and stable in our relationship with Him.

No matter what you do for a living, whether you’re single or married, have children or not, you’re well educated, rich or poor, you are just as important to God as everyone else. We are all equally valuable to God.

God is love. And He really loves YOU! I pray that you will experience God’s love for yourself every day of your life. Then you can have the life of peace, joy and true security that He’s planned for you.
