The Most Important Thing

What a glorious GOOD FRIDAY. As you’re preparing for this weekend of celebration, let us remember what the most important thing is.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

  • It’s not about bricks, sticks, mortar or clay.

  • It’s not about classic or contemporary.
  • It’s not about attendance, year-end reports or budgets.
  • It’s not about style, preference or flavor.
  • It’s not about dress code, long hair, short hair or facial hair.
  • It’s not about lights, smoke, sound or video.

  • It is about six hours on a cross.
  • It is about three days in the heart of the earth.
  • It is about sacrifice and a Savior.
  • It is about healing, salvation, deliverance and freedom.
  • It is about hope, faith and love.
  • It is about joy, peace and real relationship.
  • It is about a promised future and an expectant end.
