Manners

Manners are a MUST in life...even more in ministry.
Knowing WHAT to do, WHEN to do it, even WHERE to do it foregoes WHY to do it.
You either have manners or you don’t. It can be TAUGHT, but it’s best when CAUGHT.
If you weren’t raised with manners, you’ll need a Mentor/Coach/Pastor/Spiritual Father to fast track what your parent(s) should have instilled.
How people PERCEIVE you is how they RECEIVE you.
Manners:
• Thinks of others first
• Says “Thank you” & “Please”
• Doesn’t stare, but speaks
• Covers other’s weaknesses
• Crosses generational mindsets
• Opens doors
• Uses the power of politeness
• Is considerate
• Is never off duty
• Understands reciprocity
“Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:3-5‬ ‭
